Cooking Class Reservation Cancellations

We respectfully request that should you need to cancel a reservation for one of our cooking classes, please do so as soon as possible. We almost always have a waiting list and your timely notice of cancellation provides time to contact those on the waiting list, hopefully in time for them to make arrangements to attend the class.

Our in-house and guest chefs usually purchase their food supplies at least the day prior to each scheduled class. Therefore we require that cancellations be made at least 24 hours prior to each class so that the instructor can adjust the food and supplies. Cancellations of less than 24 hours will result in a charge of 50% of the class cost to cover unnecessary supplies and food.

Class size is limited to provide the required separation distance…so our class size will considerably smaller. Make your reservations early!!

 

Chicken & Squash Lasagna: $35.00

This dish can be made using either beef or chicken, depending on your whim or dietary requirements. Using a great cream sauce over our homemade lasagna noodles followed by our desert of Raspberry Clafoutis.

Free Wine Tasting

Let’s start the month off right with a great wine & Salt Block hors d'oeuvres tasting!

We try to select 7 to 10 wines for each tasting, shifting our emphasis from whites to red as the cool weather starts to settle in. We specialize in great wines selling between $12 to $25, which we also believe taste better than their selling price. Always a great selection of hors d’oeuvres to cleanse our “pallet.”

We will feature a special grouping of wines suitable for the holiday season. Come and enjoy!

As many of you know, Chef Paul recently retired due to continuing health issues. After several months of rehab, he really misses the kitchen and preparing great meals for his clients. Chef Paul will be teaching a menu based on his history at Canopies and Firefly’s. This class will feature a One Pan Dich process that Paul is really excited to share this dish. Starting with Orzo , vegetables, Angel hair pasta and topped with pork.. Don’t miss the novel method of quickly creating wonderful meals. If you have a request let us know.

To those of you who we could not accommodate for Chef Michaels classes in February and April, please accept our apology, but we just were overbooked for both of his classes. We are always thrilled when Chef Ferrucci takes a little time off from his fabulous downtown Panama City restaurant to teach at Somethin’s Cookin'. Michaels class is always a surprise and fills up quickly…so reserve early Michael once again is open to requests for anything special or any of his great dishes from Ristorante Ferrucci. Just let us know and Chef Michael will accommodate our request.
